WIDE Recomienda: #0041

WIDE Recomienda presents this edition 0041 starting with four feminine artists to celebrate Women’s History Month. Starting with Philly’s MC Tierra Whack with her latest track “Clones” where she ain’t happy about copy cats hanging around. Then, we play Temi Oni from Newark, Dellaware and her single debut “BGM” we can see this one hitting up the charts in the future!

The third gal we list is, Semma, the new acquisition from New York’s record label Fade to Mind who collaborated with Kingdom on her track “Bittersweet” this is quite fresh. Then, we move on to the ‘Queen S’ (Solange Knowles) and the single “Alemeda” part of her fourth and recently release album When I Get Home (2019), Solange directed the video on a very artistic, sensual and subtle way as she took pride on black culture.

Finally, we have the boy’s block starting on Deem Spencer track “is” produced by frank leone part of his debut album Pretty Face that he recorded on his bedroom whilst allegedly being “on some depressing shit” and we fell in love with that opposed NYC rapper manners of this record. And, from Montreal we present Jerico, part of Moonshine Collective, who dropped Haitian Creole rap lyrics on his four tracks EP where we can get a bit of everything: baile funk, deep house, noise and Baltimore.
