Thursday 4pm UK
From the age of 17 they began to explore the creative infinities of VirtualDJ and this led to their own technical self-teaching to manage that and more complex tools such as CDJs, understanding the beauty of the youth and Youtube tutorials. Now Antpuke DJs in different clubs and festivals demonstrating their skills and extensive music library while hoisting the diversity flag and giving the middle finger to prejudice and racial discrimination.
Antpuke is inspired by movements such as “Internet Friends”, a collective that promotes femme DJs, producers and artists who are often excluded from the local scene in Miami because of the influence of Latin American machismo. This podcast is an open space to discover music and ideas from queer, transgender, non-binary artists and people of colour in the US.
Antonio enjoys in an almost indomesticable way their facet as Antpuke when they takeover the DJ booth and once they connect that USB, you better to pray for your legs to hold on all night to dance the wild electronic tracks drowned in LGBTQ+ sauce that pours out of their mix.
Puke and Friends by Antpuke, an underground, gay and young version of Diplo and Friends
Now more recently, has started their own party collective called “Club Carry” that aims to dominate the scene locally as well as try to take over the world, Pinky.
Listen to this podcast on every first Thursday of the month at 4PM UK in WIDE Radio.
