Sin Sync Djs, 12th March w/ Aurelie Zemire

We present the second episode of Sin Sync, this time Aurelie Zemire is taking over, hailing from Réunion, a volcanic Island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, Aurélie grew up with the local rhythms Séga and Maloya, to later get soaked into Punk and New Wave. In her 20ies she finds her love for house, techno and electro, and starts organise parties and curate events such as the Electropicales Festival in St Denis, the islands main city. In her sets you can hear that seldom combination of afro rhythms and dark electronics, of heavy body music and mesmerizing psychedelia.

Like Réunion Island her musical approach is characterized by a fascinating mixed identity and cultural diversity, that is both intense as the island’s volcano and seductive as its cuisines.
