Club Jamz Radio is a space for everything that fits within the polychrome Club Music genus, emphasizing the freshest, most novel and trendsetting little creatures within it, staring cross-eyed at a dizzying point between the menhirs of the mainstream, the ever-growing pile of Pop hit remixes and the hidden underground gems of the original productions of young, talented bedroom DJs and producers who dig around the endless depths of Fruity-Loops, Reason and Live to bring out fresh and ingenious sounds.

The show’s aim is to broadcast a rather picky selection of the global, internet age partying music, covering genres ranging from Bassline, UK Garage, Grime, Hip-hop and R&B, going thorugh Jersey Club, Dancehall, Ballroom Music and Juke. Fret not, for there’s also a room for the always relevant flavours of House (e.g. Ghetto and Acid). Be it from the Olympic heights of London’s Fabric, the Panorama Bar on Berlin or the GHETTOGOTHIC parties around New York or just a lonesome, subterranean Soundcloud account longing for the feeling of the bass resounding in our hips and ribcages: there are no barriers that may stand in the way of our talented Daniel Drobinic – a.k.a. Subdata – on this 2.0 search for this season’s and the dystopian near future’s bangers.

Regarding our host, Subdata is a DJ and promoter from the city of Valencia, Venezuela, who’s recognized as one of the founding members of the prominent Desigual ( β‰  ) collective along with VFRO and SKWLKR: a clique which garnered much attention and took the dimensions of an underground movement on its brief period of activity since 2013 through a series of electronic music and multimedia art shows, influenced by the (then) contemporary internet art zeitgeist (yes indeed: we’re talking sleazy vaporwave shenanigans) which provided an aperture for a sub-cultural scene and an opportunity for artists of the likes of Diamantero and Tecnolero to present their works to the public.

It was on these nights that Subdata’s DJ Sets were praised for their on-point sense of timing and good taste, with a perfect combination of street and club ethos to them to entertain the crowds: were it the warmup or the proper middle of the demented raving, the brief breath-catching interludes or the final shakedown (ending with a bang or with a whimper): there was our guy Drobinic dissolving the barriers between any genres or BPMs notch, directing the orchestra of woofers and tweeters with surgeon-like precision.

Now that we’ve got him on board, not only are we very proud of presenting you with his sick playlist-building skills, there’s also the expectation to broadcast his debut as a producer. If you wanna be in contact with the main developments of the music that dominates the dancefloors around the world, be sure to catch the monthly transmission of Club Jamz Radio on Fridays through WIDE Radio πŸ˜‰
