Desculonización w/ Miss Tacacá Guest Mix 0041 – 28th February 2020

Honoured to present our guest mix #0041 with Miss Tacacá, a young transvestite from the Brazilian Amazon based in Sao Paulo. In her DJ sets  she mixes Funk Rave with the culture of northern Brazil: Tecno Brega, Tecno Melody and Eletrotecno. She started DJing in 2018 and has been imprinting her name on the Sao Paulo night scene. She is also a resident of the Mel Party and also works as an event producer, actress and model.

In this guest mix, she represents Desculonización, a transfeminist project founded by artist KEBRA in 2015, based between Mexico City and Brazil. It arises from the force of destruction, occupation, invasion and re-existence that is concentrated in the hips, ass, anus, pelvis and it resonates throughout the body.

He fuses, breaks down and reconstructs dancefloor beats in a way that makes him one of the most acclaimed producers of the local scene.
