We are starting off March in WIDE Radio Fiesta connecting the South with the North, first the love for South American folklore and electronic music is exposed to us by Paulopulus in an almost spiritual way. On the other hand E_s_c_o_r_p_i_o sweats out a modern version of Latino punk to swag it on your face, and finally we go all the way up North in England to meet Danifox’s Afro bass.

Paulopulus (Chile)

Born in Peru but raised in the capital of sopaipillas (Chile), he has been a great collaborator of the Santiago based netlabel called Arrhythmia, a project that nurtures from artists like Paulo who pave the way for folkloric sounds inspired by national history, global beats and bass music influences. He is currently part of the Eroica record label.

Djing from Santiago Centro, located among dishonest taxi drivers, yellow light street posts at night and empty Escudo beer bottles we present Escorpio, a duet led by Maria Jesús and Sebastián that not that long ago – in 2018 – joined forces to fall on their backs floating in an experimental, emotional and at the same time violent sound, just like millenials love it.

Danifox (UK)

A one way ticket to the evergreen chilly northern side of England, in Leeds we meet the sound of the Portuguese 19 year old Soundcloud producer: Danifox, who started like many other youngster promises by creating music as a hobby. He explores the blends between Kuduro, the dark electrifying Tarraxo a bit of lisboeta Ghetto, a sound collection with dual nationality between electronic music and African percussions.
