LatinX, 4th February w/ Sotomayor

We are excited to present the first episode of LatinX, a new resident podcast on WIDE Radio. Hosted by Erick Elola, a mexican journalist living in Germany. 

In this premiere, Erick will not only explore new Latin American music but also address issues that are inherent to any latinx in or out of the region: machismo, reggaeton, drama and telenovelas.  

Additionally, they have a special guest, Erick speaks to Sotomayor, a musical project of two siblings; Paulina and Raul from Mexico City. An elegant blend between afro latin rhythms and electronic beats. Their sound has been called the “New Latin Wave”, a movement of Latin American bands that explore their heritage through contemporary music. 

LatinX is available in both English and Spanish, so whichever language you speak and/or prefer, you can enjoy this podcast without missing out.
