MIRROR’d: EP2, by pig$ and kitten

We present June’s MIRROR’d playlist, a music selection founded by pig$ and kitten. As multi disciplinarians with backgrounds in music, film, art and contemporary culture, they seek to find an alternative path to curating playlists that focus on individuality, diversity, and interconnectivity.

“We aim to curate music from an inside to outside approach and connect with like minded people.” – pig$ and kitten.

This month, their selections feature mostly underground, experimental Black artists with a sound of their own.

About kitten:

Orlando based selector kitten (formally known as fibonacci curls) has been contributing to the underground scene in ORL since 2015, but officially began her own creative journey early 2017. She currently hosts a monthly residency via WIDE, titled ‘Flesh and Bone’ which features guest mixes each month. Flesh and Bone explores the unraveling, and inevitably vulnerable process that occurs when we interact with music. 

About pig$:

Los Angeles-based producer of industrial and experimental dance music – pig$ specializes in sculpting and designing sounds that excite and express the need for fresh uncompromising ideas. Coming from a background in video art, his productions have been deemed very visual and oftentimes, one-of-a-kind. His upcoming album, MIRROR WORLD, out this year, seeks to bring our human experience into one huge shared experience for its participants on the dance floor.
