New Years Mix w/ She Is El Capo – Dic 31

We say goodbye to 2019 with a mix from She Is El Capo, perhaps one less celebratory than the conventional New Year’s party mix. This selection is focused on personal reflections of nostalgia, rupture, and frustration, musicalising the closing of a cycle, in this case, a whole decade. A mix to heal and face 2020 without emotional baggage. 

She Is El Capo contrasts club music tracks with deconstructed pieces of reggaeton that are intertwined between noise and dramatic melodies, this mix becomes almost a theatrical act to show two sides of the same coin. If she was to give it a genre, it would be: dark reggaeton or sadggeaton 🥀
