No Future: Organ Tapes x Severin Glance

No Future: Organ Tapes x Severin Glance

One of the upcoming events in Bristol that you cannot miss is the Organ Tapes x Severin Glance by No Future at The Crofters Rights this Friday 24th of January.Β

No Future is a Bristol based project trying to promote music that reflects or responds to the ways the capitalist internet has changed music consumption. Organ Tapes and Severin Glance’s pan-genre style demonstrates this idea perfectly, the disparate influences tied together by urban ennui, joy and heads-down grit.

“The future is the sign outside the No Future nightclub”

Last spring Organ Tapes performed at the Take 5 basement with a hybrid live / DJ set of emotive dancehall, drill, grime edits and his own productions & live vocals for No Future, and it’s time for a reunion. After the release of his triumphant second album Hunger in Me Living on Tobago Tracks, singer/producer/rapper/DJ is here to tug at heartstrings with collaborator Severin Glance.

These two friends share an ethos in DJing of chasing a feeling across genres – Severin Glance’s guest mix for No Future’s radio show at 1020 skipped through stripped back Future edits, neo-classical, afrobeats, Chief Keef’s weirdest tune and naturally, drill.

Expect dancefloor poignancy / hope and alienation through LDN facing urban genres.
