PRIMO releases SP002 with Catana and Young Cister
We support the new music releases especially from our brothers and sisters in Latin America, on this occasion from the Santiago we have good news from PRIMO, a Chilean editorial looking to document the roots of Urban sounds and new music from local Latino artists.
Their second release Primo SP002 introduces us to “Ulalá”, a song with a Urban saucy music base and new latino sounds (we so very much appreciate in WIDE) composed by Catana, part of her mixtape Qween C. On another hand, or should we say side?, we play “Algo de Ti” by Young Cister a track that automatically became the first reggaeton song to be edited in vinyl in Chile.
“Ulalá” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Dirtyfingaz. Instrumental beats by Kpbts and composed Catana.
“Algo de Ti” was recorded, mixed and mastered by EIAmbidieztro. Instrumental beats by Young Cister, PICHV and ElAmbidieztro.
The digital release was on February 14th and the physical format will be release on April 4th at the Needle record shop located on the famous Bellas Artes borough. The showcase opens with a DJ set from Chilean Latinx Punk duo ESCORPIO (Listen to their WIDE Radio Fiesta mix below)
