RAZA, JUL 31 w/ Von Melt & Ochi
This new episode of RAZA by the Chilean netlabel Von Melt, brings us Ochi as a guest in a live set from the Santiago nightclub: Noa Noa. OCHI began as a way for the artist to unravel her “past” and expressing her anxieties of the present, to conclude in an eternal self-destruction to make room for the curiosity of the future.
She captures the voices of her own journey with nostalgic environments painted by ethereal pads and rhythmsthat play to widen and retract with noisy kicks. A sound that always seeks to remain minimalist.
Materialised instant whims experience each other and then follow their natural course, staining the branches of the IDM, ambient, noise, techno or even synth-trap bases.
Playing her live sets using a laptop at underground raves in Santiago, Simone Corbalán leaves her home country in 2018 to explore Berlin and Spain. Where she founds her own label “Lisa Discos” releasing a “Various Artists” production on cassette. Also, she then returns to Santiago early this year to play in houses, illegal parties, clubs, shops, cultural centers, squatters, bars, fairs and showcases. She released her first own production: “Luto”, and launches her EP “The Social” that will be extended to LP at the end of this year.
