The new episode of Sin Sync Djs is here. This time introducing Meritxell de Soto, an artist based in Barcelona. Performer and actress, her work and research vehicle is the body; Therefore, she develops her work as a dj within the framework of creating sets that are a body experience.
To develop this practice, she always works with music and sounds tuned to 432hz, a vibration that according to tradition acts as a healing of the body when it comes into contact with it. Her musical references are eminently Latin, rhythms that allow her to connect with the ritualistic character of the dance.
“Healing perreo (extended mix)” is the second part of the mix “Healing perreo (water mix)” the two mixes were born from understanding dance as healing.
As Tabita Rezaire says “I really believe that states of health, well-being or even consciousness are related to the dance of our inner waters, how they vibrate.” For this healing mix I have chosen perreo songs because I feel that it is the music that has stirred the waters of my body the most. The mix is tuned to 432hz to live a body healing experience.
