Sin Sync Djs, 14th May w/ FARDOE
Introducing the fourth episode of Sin Sync Djs featuring FARDOE, dutch born but raised and based in Barcelona, she lead us to the concentrated magic of deep house and techno.
FARDOE presents herself as a DJ with her own name. She always kept a close relation with music and urban culture. Starting from hip hop dance competitions, her influences expanded until she developed a special taste for the club sound, which enabled her to discover new sounds and ways to enjoy dance.
This mix is titled ‘Lost in Altruism’, FARDOU comments:
One of my favorite concepts attached to existence is ‘anonymity’. This set is the allegory of stages I experienced in my personal journey on self discovery. From entering the unknown to getting loose into the new, followed by a release of excitement and confusion, and finally returning to the point of a sad but wise nostalgia.
I wanted to represent that journey through some of the sounds I feel most attracted to. From minimal techno tracks to deep dark percussion to synthetic and multi-colored melodies.
Her sets are defined by mixing thoroughly selected music with the aim to generate different experiences within Deep-House and Techno. In other contexts, she is also known to perform Minimal Techno sets with a unique sensitivity and delicacy.
