Tropical Tea Party at the Thekla Bristol

Next Friday 19th April the Tropical Tea Party invites you all to dig out your best holiday attire and climb aboard the tropical party cruise ship on the Thekla Bristol to sail on an audible voyage through Jamaica, Brazil and Ghana introducing 3 headline acts, The Busy Twist on the Afro House/Global Bass, the legendary reggae vocalist Horseman and DJ Patife on the Brazilian Drum and Bass.

 

The Tropical Tea Party (TTP) will also host our dearest friends from London DJ Cal Jader and Selecta Mad Max playing as Love Carnival from London a duo made of who have been running parties in South London with guests such as Maga Bo, Chancha Via Circuito, El Búho and much more to make everyone dance Cumbia, Global Bass, Baile Funk and many other Latin and African rhythms.

Dj Cal Jader is one of the founders of Movimientos, travelled around the globe playing fresh Latin and global sounds, combining classic rhythms with contemporary cutting-edge and urban beats with a London twist.

 

Mad Max is the other half of Love Carnival originally from Birmingham and now living in London has a strong influence from roots and dub music, Max blends original sounds into modern day electronic styles, celebrating musical cultures and genres from around the world along the way.

 

Tropical Tea Party will also party at the Thekla with other family & friend DJs such as AAA Badboy, Waggles Vs Ru Robinson and Area Boys, all assembled by their Thekla captain DJ Hiphoppapotamus.
