WIDE Recomienda 0044: Latinx producers

We present WIDE Recomienda edition 44 enclosing a selection of 6 tracks from Latin American artists: Abssys, Kylo, Astorga, REDBOY, Romeo Trash and Yih Capsule feat. Tombe.

Abssys – “bájalo / ramiel extract blend”

Starting with our Mexican friend Abssys and his track “bájalo / ramiel extract blend”, a diverse genres blend from different artsits including one produced by N.A.A.F.I’s Lao for the group Foryfive, and others such as Tropical Interface and Syntrovert.

Kylo – “Devoción”

Presenting  Kylo with this track titled “Devoción”. This song is part of his new 8 tracks project of chaotic earthly and mystic frequencies as described by the releasing netlabel ADED Files, also from Mexico.

Astorga – “Run Over Cat”

We travel straight to South America to reach Nicolás Astorga,  also known as Astorga, on his latest release titled en esta Fuerza. We chose “Run Over Cat” from this EP loaded of techno, EDM, post punk and dark wave vibes, printed with agressive and metallic sounds.

REDBOY – “FPS”

One of Makinmovs , Santiago, Chile based netlabel new releases is for “FPS” with collaborator Daniel Rojas AKA REDBOY from Xalapa, México. Extracted from his USER EP, where we can breathe the usual frenetic sequence that plays inspired by Drum&Bass beats and vocal samples rooted in New Latino Sounds.

Yih Capsule & Tombe – “SUBE”

Staying in Chile we hit play to “SUBE” a collab between girl power Yih Capsule & Tombe, a producer under the Makinmovs umbrella. We couldn’t care less that it was release almost a year ago, Yih Capsule captures our attention any time being totally enigmatic with her hipnotising R&B, Soul and Latinx beats. This track belongs to her latest EP release, J.L.X.

Romeo Trash – “02 TmpSDFBtE”

Finally we give it closure with Romeo Trash. Also, secretly, known as Imaabs, this is an alternative alias for the Chilean producer. We play the second track titled “02 TmpSDFBtE” of his 3 pieces EP uploaded to Soundcloud, a journey that could drip a bit of artistic frustration and changes coming directly from his beat maker.
